what is nuba foundation



Nuba Foundation (NF) is a not-for-profit organization in South Sudan and Sudan duly registered with the Ministry of Justice (South Sudan) and Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Agency (SRRA) Sudan, known for its vision to work with marginalized sections of the society and empower them attain dignified quality life. It was registered as an organization in September, 2015 by 7 like-minded Nuba stakeholders and elites, to respond to challenges facing the Nuba people as a result of the on-going conflict in South Kordofan that has denied Nuba Population access to quality and dignified life over decades with an ultimate goal of restoring hope, empowering people and transforming communities towards self-reliance and development.

OUR GOALS AND OBJECTIVES


  1. To reach out for the sick, hungry, hurting, thirsty, poor, illiterate, marginalized and persecuted through the practical love and hope of Jesus Christ.
  2. To help communities recover alongside with the conflict through livelihoods initiatives.
  3. To empower women and youth with skills and opportunities to help them transform and live independent and dignified lives.
  4. To advocate and alleviate human suffering in Nuba Mountains and Sudan at large.
  5. To train, equip and raise ministry leaders with gospel message for transparent and accountable use of NSF resources and to advance God’s Kingdom.
